Summary
What does this car say about you?
Young at heart, or a sad old man wanting to appear young!
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Fun as a runaround, and second car in the family - but not a long journey choice.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Unlikely, but I am a low mileage user and will probably hang onto it for a few years.
What are you likely to buy next?

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Franchised
Did you buy this car new?
Yes
What price did you pay?
£19,490
When did you buy the car?
May 2007
Did you get a good deal and why?
Used by sales team.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
What was the dealer like?
Pushy, short of honesty. The car had been damaged in a showroom, a seat had been torn and back window broken. He would not accept my observations until I pressed hard. He assured me it had cruise control, but it didn't.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Comfortable to drive, cruises easily, draughty with roof down, particularly for rear passengers.
What's it like to park?
Fine, but as a 2-door car it does need wide parking spaces, and I often have to slide the seat back to be able to get out. I have to select my supermarket parking slots with care. Body work is thin and vulnerable to damage by others.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Wheel rims do not stand up to country roads. I have had to replace one wheel, and two others are now dented.
What's most practical about your car?
Good handling and steering. Fuel consumption averages 54 mpg.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Retracting roof.
