What does this car say about you?
Likes to have something a bit different from the norm.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Most like it, though some find it a bit tight in the back. But maybe next time I'll get a SLK so they'll have to take a taxi!
Would you buy this car again and why?
Not sure. I believe Renault are due to replace it in about 2 years. Depends on what it is like and I hope they offer a more powerful version.
What are you likely to buy next?
Considered the VW EOS as it comes in 3.2 version but way too expensive for what it is. So have to wait and see. Fancy a 350SLK or Boxster S but the boots are so small compared to the Meg.

Did you get a good deal and why?
Motor Provider, best price anywhere, but had to wait about 12 weeks after specifying what I wanted.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Liked the idea of open top motoring with hard top security. Also seemed a lot of car for the money.
What was the dealer like?
Done over the web and phone, pretty good overall. Would probably buy through them again.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Went for the 2.0T. Only 165BHP, so reasonably brisk, not a getaway screamer, but pulls very well midrange. Personally I would prefer a bit more more power. Had a 3.0 Laguna before I bought this. If they did one with that engine it would be perfect.
What's it like to park?
No problems once you get used to the high boot lid.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Roof mechanism apparently needed adjustment which was done at first service. It was working fine, but creaked a bit over uneven roads. Otherwise fautless.
What's most practical about your car?
It's dual character. Coupe or cabriolet, you choose. (Also huge boot when roof is up!)
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Got to be the roof. I also went for the upgraded stereo which I am pleased with.
