Summary
What does this car say about you?
That you are a skillful driver to be able to drive that car so smoothly with a heavy clutch that virtually has no biting/meeting point and a gearbox that girls complain about being unable to change gears with.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
rear passenger seats too cramped. doors too heavy. "almost crushed my friends legs" (front passenger).
Would you buy this car again and why?
I would if Renault didn't make it. They build very unreliable cars.
What are you likely to buy next?
Honda Civic

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Requires skill and prior driving experience to drive this car as rear view is limited and shape of car gives the wing mirror view a little strange... Clutch is extremely heavy, my friends always ask me why do I kick the clutch but because I've been driving it for so long I don't notice until I drive a car with a feather-like clutch. The gear is very stiff, need something like Arnold Schwarzenegger's left arm for switching gears. Handling is excellent. Feel like I can take any high speed corner confidently with no worries of the car rolling. Love the handling so much!
What's it like to park?
Once again prior driving (parking) experience is required due to limited visibility of all corners of the car.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
When my car is idling, my engine would randomly rev by itself making the rev needle jump up and down and the car to randomly shake. It makes strange creaking noises when steering. Took it to local garages, who couldn't diagnose the problem so took it to Renault dealer who also couldn't diagnose the problem... My car engine failed to start sometimes and apparently it was due to the loom and gear box dog mount (which is a very common problem in Renault cars I've discovered). The middle compartment rear window buttons are prone to be kicked off all the time by passengers. Got my car serviced at Bridges Renault in Reading for £755 to get filters and oil replaced, and fix some other problems. They gave me back my car and didn't warn me about my worn out cam belt. I was driving on the
