Renault Megane Coupe (2009 - 2016) 1.2 TCE GT Line Nav 3d Owner Review

In their own words
Had the car for a couple of months, was between this and a 1 series.
Chose this in the end, due to being a newer car with less miles than the equivalently priced 1 series.
It has been great, I've got the 1.2 petrol, which although isn't going to break any speed records, it's quick enough with easily enough punch. I don't feel it is lacking. If I'm careful I get 53 MPG, that's the actual claimed figure, however it is a very fun car to drive so quite often I see this number fall.
There are some things I would change - the infotainment screen, it would be helpful if it was more angled at the driver, to stop reflections. I would also improve the sensor for the auto wipers - it likes to wait until the whole screen is completely covered in water, and then it will clear it. I would also say that larger glove box would be nice, but really, these are just small things, of which I've gotten used to now.
Overall I would say this is a very nice car - I have the leather seats, they are extremely comfortable and very supportive, only issue I've had is the lever for the lumber support has fallen off. The heated seat function is also very effective, heating up pretty quickly.
The paint is pearlescent white, however I wouldn't recommend this, not for any other reason except it doesn't look very different from the normal white so to me seems a bit of a waste of money, however I purchased the vehicle used so it doesn't matter to me.
