Economy
Value
You get a fair amount for the money.
Costs
Cheap to insure and not too bad on fuel. Parts can be a little pricey, particularly from dealers.
-
On the road
Driving
An easy car to drive, but not very rewarding and a little too roly-poly in corners.
Performance
90bhp is a little low for the engine size, more a relexad tootler than a screamer.

Living with it
Reliability
Most things are ok, but the HT coils can die sometimes resulting in killing the catalytic converter, which becomes expensive.
Image
Innoffensive middle-of-the-road, not ugly. You'll be let out of side-roads, but bullied by rep-mobiles on motorways.
Comfort
Sits four comfortably, ride quite smooth, seats could be a little more comfortable.
-
Security and Service
Security
Immobiliser as standard, so not much chance of getting it stolen. Lack of alarm means window break-ins are still possible.
Service
Very expensive for what they do. Only use them for cambelt changes now to get the stamp in the book.

Problems and Ownership

Engine
HT coils dying, which must be fixed ASAP. Exhaust manifold cracking.
Other
Needed new exhuast system after cat distintegrated after HT coil died. New exhausts aren't a very good fit always. Rear wheel bearing failing.
