Seller needed a quick sale, was probably £500 cheaper than Parkers quote.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Diesel, good mpg. Ticked all the boxes at the time. Bought at 47k, sold 2 and a half years later at 96k for £1500.

What's it like to drive?
Nippy around town, ok on the motorway up to about 80mph, by 90 it starts to feel like it will fall apart.

Have you had any problems with the car?
First 2 years was great, no major problems. Then the key/immobilizer packed in leaving us stranded in Tenby, Easter weekend was cut short by being brought home on a low loader with the Megane on the back. Shortly after, the odometer packed in on the instrument panel, no miles recorded but no speed information either. Renault suggested replacing the instrument panel, £500 later the new panel had not fixed the problem. I asked for the original to be put back in and the fault traced through the wiring loom. Renault refused to refund the £500 for a part which had not fixed the problem. I lost faith in Renault, put the car in order and sold it asap. I will never do business with Renault again.
