Renault Megane Hatchback (1996-2002) interior, tech and comfort

(change model)
Good driving position, despite only having a height-adjustable steering wheel. However, the driver’s seat is too squishy and lacks the support needed for longer journeys. Gimmick-free cabin, with well-placed switches and buttons that are care-free to operate. Switchgear is robust, but some interior fittings look a bit rough on older cars.
Hatchback is fine for two adults in the back. Legroom is a bit tight, but better than many of this generation.
