Economy
Value
After paying premium for a diesel and extras like cruise control, metallic paint, 6play CD, then the price soon mounts to £12.5k. But still a lot cheaper than the equivalent Ford/ Vauxhall/ Alfa (my favourite cars!)
Costs
Servicing is every 18000 miles, but is very expensive (£200) for what is basically an oil and filter change! But fuel consumption offsets this niggle. My car averages 60mpg on a full tank in all driving environments with 70mpg on my way to work!

On the road
Driving
Handles well when cornering, long journeys can result in back ache as seats are stiff.
Performance
The cars a diesel for heavens sake! But it pulls well at low revs, and cruises effortlessly on motorways! Don't expect to pull any G-forces though!

Living with it
Reliability
Every thing was going well until 2 weeks ago!! When an electrical fault meant that I couldn't turn the engine off! The AA sorted efficiently and Renault replaced a slightly corroded fuse box. No other issues.
Image
Car is very chic with typical French styling. I like the styling, but my 14 yr old daughter prefers the Alfa, nuff said dude!
Comfort
Leg room in the rear is compromised when a six footer is in the front. However, the dash layout and materials used create a pleasant driving experience.

Security and Service
Security
Alarm/ immobiliser/ dead locks as standard
Service
Sales dept were excellent, however the servicing team were not as receptive to my needs as I would have liked. Getting a courtesy car was incredibly difficult and also there were loads of other Renaullts with electrical faults in the garage.
