What does this car say about you?

That we are practical, care about the environment in choosing a car with reasonably good mpg.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

Our neighbors thought that the car was in good condition and were surprised that it was nearly 10 years old.

Would you buy this car again and why?

I would keep an open mind to.what deals our around and hopefully our purchasing power would increase.

What are you likely to buy next?

Mid sized car that would be suitable for a family especially because we enjoy going on day trips.

Did you get a good deal and why?

We considered that we had received a good deal considering some of the prices for cars at other dealers we had seen. I noticed that cars we perhaps cheaper at dealers in Preston but may have taken more of a chance.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

My wife wanted an automatic car and we searched around for one within our price range. I have always bought Toyota and would have bought another one considering that are often reliable. When we saw this car, liked the look of the car and impressed with the ignition mechanism. With a little faith, we hoped that there would be no problems.

What was the dealer like?

Actually the dealer's father was looking after the garage and had kept it open that day on the off chance that someone came in. He was surprised when we asked to see the cars and didn't have too much to say. Once we decided to buy the Renault, we met his son and he a friendly and very approachable guy. I few weeks later, the battery died and he came around to our house, a few miles away and jump started our car. An electrical component failed on the car and we replaced the part without charge.

What's it like to drive?

It is very easy to drive and all views from the drivers side can clearly be seen.

What's it like to park?

The car is very easy to park for me but our previous next door in our eighties did have difficulties and crashed the car twice.

Have you had any problems with the car?

Most of the time, we enjoy driving in the car but occasionally the gears slip which is annoying. Also the electric front windows sometimes don't work and we have discovered that this is a common problem with Renault Megane.

What's most practical about your car?

It is also possible to lock the car by pushing a button on the car and as soon as one is within range of the car, it is possible to open the drivers car door without keys. Once inside the car, it is possible to lock all the car doors for security. Additional CDs can be stored under the passengers floor mat and there is sufficient for the family to go on small trips.

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

We like it being automatic because it makes driving more relaxed. We like the ignition switch which is a push button rather than turning a key. It about time something like this was developed in the car.
