Economy
Value
Brakes should be as standard
Costs
Lack of clutch should greatly reduce the cost of a manual car
-
On the road
Driving
Brakes and clutch failed on three separate occasions without warning
Performance
When working this car performs well. Rather let down by the times when it decides not to work.
-
Living with it
Reliability
Put a years salary on the fact that this car will spend more time in the garage than with the owner
Image
Traditional, Fred Flintstone style of transport
Comfort
Very comfortable. My hours waiting for the AA were spent in luxury.

Security and Service
Security
No one stole this car. Maybe not an advantage to me.
Service
Renault are at best indifferent. I have risked both the safety of other road users and myself in this deathtrap. Three times the master cylinder has failed. I have lost the brakes and the clutch, pretty scary especially on the M6.
