Summary
What does this car say about you?
Someone who doesn't go for little performance hatches, but someone who goes for big performance hatches. Definately doesn't give off a boy racer look (Unless it's modified to look like it..) I'd say, generally, it's a business/working class mans fun toy.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Love it. Many people have wanted to have a go in it.
Would you buy this car again and why?
DEFINATELY. It's reliable, fun and fairly classy. It's just not something you could use day to day in traffic as it averages just over 30MPG on a good day.
What are you likely to buy next?
Maybe R26.R MK IV Golf R32 Audi S3

Franchise
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£9,000
When did you buy the car?
October 2009
Did you get a good deal and why?
I got a great deal on the car. Only thing is the car hadn't been run by the dealer so it ran a little rusty on the brakes when I first had it.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Absolutely beautiful car and plenty of road presence. Turns heads of enthusiasts but not chavs and kids. Absolutely love the way it looks. The reputation of Renault Sport is pretty high too.
What was the dealer like?
Absolutely terrible. Their cars were great. A lovely selection of hot hatches and sports cars but the dealer himself was a very moody guy and because the car wasn't taxed, He forced my friend (Who drove me to the dealer - His exact words were "Who ever owns that, can you drop me down the road to buy tax for him") to drive him to the post office and buy tax for the car. They didn't offer waranty and treated me like I didn't know anything. I genuinely wanted to test drive the car before I bought it and the guy really didn't want me to drive it as he really couldn't be bothered to shift the other cars. I found the attitude horrendous but the deal quite reasonable.(Carbridge Car Center - Alfreton)

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Beautiful. Feels like a ClioSport 172/182 with a little more class and a turbo. For what it's size is, it handles pretty well.
What's it like to park?
Pretty good. Not amazing, but the steering is very light. Only thing that makes me weary is the size of it's bottom.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Nothing so far. I've had lots of Renaults and a few Renault sports, none of them have had major issues.
What's most practical about your car?
Space. It feels like a sports car and luxury car, crammed into one. This to me, is perfect.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Xenons, Folding mirrors, Auto adjusting lights, Keyless entry, Full closure system..
