Economy
Value
You won't get quite so much for your money with anyone else.
Costs
It's a 2 litre so I can hammer it and lose the contents of my fuel tank or be gentle and get 1mpg less than my old 1.4! Its entirely down to your driving style.

On the road
Driving
The 2.0 litre beast is a lot more suited to the weedy 1.4 engine in my last megane, good driving position, plenty of things to adjust to get into that elusive 'sweet spot', brakes work extremely well, steering is self centering which suits me fine.
Performance
The oomf kicks in at around 3000rpm then things get distinctly sporty and the engine really growls! Very grippy and I find the steering to be very precise.

Living with it
Reliability
Teeting problems very many to begin with but thats what the warranty is there for and now the car is faultless, still, I'm keeping my fingers crossed...
Image
I love it and so do you, otherwise why are you reading this review?! Too many bland cars on the road although I'm seeing a lot more Megane's out there these days than I used to.
Comfort
It's not a taxi so dont expect to earn any extra moonlighting but for a small family car it does the job. very supportive but comfy seats and headrests are quirky but practical.

Security and Service

Always coutteous and sympathetic to any niggling problems - up front and honest with any shortcomings
