Summary
What does this car say about you?
Well it's an average hatchback on a 10 plate
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
It is a good average hatchback for unhurried journeys and everyday use. There's nothing basically wrong with it.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Not unless it is the 130 bhp model. Like the Focus 2Ld it needs more torque & a 6th gear. Hate the seat, squab has only up/down and it really needs an adjustable tilt because not everyone looks the same from the rear
What are you likely to buy next?
As above if they cure the driver's window water feature.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Easy to drive, gear box finger tip operation. So are all the controls. Not much torque below 2000 rpm and not much fuel efficiency above. In, out and around town 55 mpg. It is good not to overtake on any hill. Corners well.
What's it like to park?
Easy, good lock

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
In anything beyond a mist do not open the driver's window, even a smidgen, at over 30 mph as all the water from the screen and roof pours in at about elbow level
What's most practical about your car?
Auto radio off when driver's door opens. Oddly, the radio up button changes channel & frequency down and the down button up
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Keyless remote has a button to turn / off the headlights-superb if you feel vulnerable in a dark place. Looks as if someone is already waiting in the car for you. The push button 'START' takes a little getting used to but it works well. Fuel consumption/mpg display is comprehensive but the miles remaining cuts out with the warning light at 65 or less
