Renault Megane Hatchback (2008 - 2016) 1.5 dCi GT Line Nav 5d Owner Review

In their own words
I got this as a replacement for a megane tourer that i was having lots of reliability problems with; whilst it has generally been better, it too has had a few problems early on which (including my previous experience) mean i really wouldn't recommend getting one, unless its really cheap and you have no other options! Twice the car went into limp mode for seemingly little reason (i believe a sensor fault) resulting in massivly delayed journies. The car also had an ABS fault. The interior quality isnt great, all of the air vents have disintegrated (cant fully direct the air now) and some of the seat adusters have fallen off.
The mpg is ok managing low to mid 50s on my mostly motorway driving for work.
The Gt line interior made the car a much nicer place to be than the dynamique spec car it replaced, much nicer seats and better looking trim, and the larger wheels and low profile tyres improved the general feel of the car when driving.
The built in navigation is terrible to use, you're better off using google maps on your phone! Although mine sometime can be a pain connecting with Bluetooth.
The position of the cruise control button is weird and hard to find when driving (not in view), so i just tend to leave it on.
In short, its ok, build quality could be better, i won't get another, i think there are better quality cars out there.
