What does this car say about you?

I enjoy real drivers cars and is keen about cars but not a hooligan like an older ST or VXR.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

They think it suits me and my single lifestyle, enjoying myself while I can.

Would you buy this car again and why?

Yes, the same spec and model actually as it is a true drivers car.

What are you likely to buy next?

Intend on keeping this till im 25 then upgrade to something possibly rear or all wheel drive, a next step in performance cars. I like the idea of an E92 M3 or maybe a 911 of some type. Though this car keeps up with so many cars in real life it's difficult to find a better car.

Did you get a good deal and why?

Hell of a good deal for the time. The similar spec car was 14k from a dealer with the final price as 11.5k for this one. The car was 4 years old and only had 24k miles along with every option.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

Had a megane before and loved the new one. At 21 years old thought it would be a nice present to myself. First step onto the performance car ladder.

What was the dealer like?

Private seller who bought it from new. Put every option on it and had every receipt from original purchase.

What's it like to drive?

Superb, such precise handling, huge amounts of power and torque. Very easy to drive fast, the LSD really helps through the corners. Physics defying levels of grip. Under acceleration it doesn't torque steer or wheel spin (it does in 1st) because of how well planted this car is. Extremely rewarding.

What's it like to park?

Difficult rear visibility with the recaros as you can't actually turn to look out the back along with the tiny rear windows. Big mirrors and good parking sensors mean this doesn't become a particular issue. 19 inch wheels curb easily so care has to be taken at all times.

Have you had any problems with the car?

Had a service and Renault ordered the wrong spark plugs, meaning the car had to stay in overnight. The door handles when cold seem to stick slightly when you open the door.

What's most practical about your car?

The engine, just gaining speed is effortless, not needing to thrash it. Can overtake most cars using 4th or 5th gear riding the torque. Makes driving easy.

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

Leather Recaros - Every time you look into the car you can see them, they look special. Upon getting in they are deep and very comfy, adding more to the inside of the car.
