Summary
What does this car say about you?
That I have taken the time to seek out a pure drivers car and want to experience everything it has to offer.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Everyone I have spoken to/driven around in the car absolutely love it. Mine's a little louder than most as has a modified exhaust from a RenaultSport specialist, so the neighbours might not be a fan of cold starts.
Would you buy this car again and why?
No - as much as I love it, I wouldn't buy the same car. I would need to change it up.
What are you likely to buy next?
A Cayman S Black Edition is top of the list for this time next year.

Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£12,000
When did you buy the car?
February 2014
Did you get a good deal and why?
Yes - Was in negative equity on my old car (Ibiza Bocanegra) and they bent over backwards to make it work for me, which it has done.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Monumental reviews from all the top car mags - wanting to own a purely driver focused car.
What was the dealer like?
Superb service, professional and would definitely use again.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Stunning, confidence inspiring and at times, brutal. On any given back road the LSD simply digs in mid-corner and spits you back out the other side and you can't help thinking you could have pushed harder. In and around town it can be feel quite big, but is still surprisingly comfortable despite it's stiff chassis set up. This car is all about performance and handling and makes a mockery of much more expensive and 'premium' cars which can't keep up for toffee. Some may mistake it as a boy racer car, however they'll just be getting mixed up between a boy racer and a true performance car.
What's it like to park?
Simple - spec'd with rear parking sensors, you'll have no problems unless you reverse at stupid speeds. The sensor is adjustable too.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Only thing since buying was a slight knocking from the rear suspension over bumps, which turned out to be a loose bolt. Other than that, no issues.
What's most practical about your car?
The space in the car is a lot more than I thought it would be. Boot space is better than most other hatches and with the performance this car offers to boot makes it a superb package.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
The recaro seats without question along with the LSD. Transform the car completely from the non-Cup models.
