    Value

    5 out of 5 5.0

Superbly equipped for the money. Lots of features that you would only expect from a much more prestigious car.

Sips diesel, even when driven hard. Has averaged 57-61 miles per gallon since new.

    Driving

    3 out of 5 3.0

Overall good to drive, though steering is a little light for my taste. Visibility is not always that good due to thick pillars.

    Performance

    3 out of 5 3.0

Acceleration not brilliant, but perfectly acceptable for a 1.5 litre engine in such a heavy car. Struggles a bit when carrying 4 passengers.

  • Living with it

    Reliability

    4 out of 5 4.0

Problems with gear change when new, but has never let me down.

Beautiful, unusual design. A very refreshing change from the normal bland boxes that you get in this sector.

    Comfort

    3 out of 5 3.0

Driver comfort excellent. Plenty of leg room and a good range of seat and steering wheel adjustments. Rear passenger accommodation poor for adults as leg room very limited

My local dealer in Portslade could not be more helpful.

  • Problems and Ownership

    Problems

Interior very well screwed together, but quality of materials seems poor. Plastics are easily scratched and fabrics easily marked. I have driven the Expression model (lower trim level) and materials seem to be of higher quality.
