Yes
What price did you pay?
£0
When did you buy the car?
February 2004
Did you get a good deal and why?
The deal my father received was at an excellent value including main dealer maintenance/serving/MOT and MOT Repairs/Insurance/Tax/Tyres for a period of 48000 miles/3 years. The lease was extended and the car was purchased in 2010 with 80k miles
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
This is my Father's car and he leased it for 7 years before purchasing it in retirement. The engine and practicality (and lease price!) attracted my Father to it.
What was the dealer like?

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
For the size of the car, it really goes well. I've driven at least 3000 of the miles on it so far and i have enjoyed every mile of it. The brakes are VERY sensitive but its reassuring in an emergency stop situation. The engine goes very well and it couldn't be any comfier on a motorway cruise.
What's it like to park?
Quite easy for a big car.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
The car has generally been very reliable in its 84k miles so far, this being the first Megane 1.9Dci Sport Tourer in Dundee at the time. The squealing brakes were an issue but these have been fixed. The occasional change of glow plug, suspension fix and 1 electric window motor breakage are the only occurences so far.
What's most practical about your car?
The boot is very large and there are many cubby holes/secret compartments.
