Renault Safrane Hatchback 3.0 RXE V6 5d Auto (1993/K) Owner Review

Economy
Value
Parker's rating may be true when new, but as a used buy you get so much for so little... it is worth noting that anywhere except the UK, the Safrane is a viable and more popular alternative to the BMW.
Costs
Servicing etc is not unduly expensive. Being a 3-litre, it drinks a lot.

On the road
Driving
Smooth, but drives light for its size.
Performance
Maybe Parker's didn't have the 3.0L V6!

Living with it
Reliability
FSH is essential for good reliability.
Image
No arguement there, but it's nice that a boring-looking car can blow away all those boy racers.
Comfort
Only thing missing is a log fire.
