Summary
What does this car say about you?
Nothing I would lie to repeat! How about I lost my masculinity on the way to the dealer! :-)
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Always pleasantly surprised when they came along for a ride. Spacious, quiet and comfy.
Would you buy this car again and why?
No purely because of the image. But I admit it was a great car.
What are you likely to buy next?
Have bought a Nissan Quashqai. Handles better but not as spacious or comfy. Miss the 55mpg+ economy of my Scenic

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Surprisingly good. The ride is super comfortable, the interior well insulated from noise. I moved from a 300bhp sports car down to this 80bhp barge (getting old!) but got used to waiting for the turbo to spool up - flat spot was annoying!. Sluggish from standing start but fine on the motorway and open road. Plan the corners well in advance and the Scenic is great - flows well through the bends. Just don't try change direction suddenly.
What's it like to park?
Bit of a pig but you sit hight an visibility is pretty good.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Covered 33k in under 2 years. Car never broke down but some minor issues. Clutch pedal sensor, CD player and interior fan failed Poor performance at times (Glow plug replaced) All fixed without hassle by dealer under warranty.
What's most practical about your car?
Car not as practical as hoped. Front seats don't fold flat and rear seats dont tumble all the way forward. Now the car has gone I do miss the storage space in the front. Drawers under seats, compartments in the floor, door pockets etc. Day to day storage excellent but not much good at carrying large items or awkward shaped/size items. Rival MPVs seem much better at this.
