Summary
What does this car say about you?
In my opinion this car says that I enjoy driving and love the Sunday drive down country roads. The impeccable handling and gadgets such as traction control and gearshift light that encourage the driver to make the most of the time in the car.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
A brilliant little car.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Not taking into the consideration the major depreciation factor and the amount of money that I have lost. HELL YEAHHH!
What are you likely to buy next?
Something with a little bit more power.

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Franchised
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£9,850
When did you buy the car?
April 2009
Did you get a good deal and why?
The purchase price was very good considering the high specification that I desired. I was very impressed with the deal that they put together and was very impressed with the customer service from the dealer right up until the second I had driven it off the forecourt.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
After seeing the car on Top Gear, I was impressed with how much fun it looked and how easy it seemed to drive. The impressive chassis and suspension set up (Cup pack) that was seen on the test drive told me that I had to have the car.
What was the dealer like?
A poor dealership with poor customer aftercare. As soon as the car was sold it seemed like they wanted nothing more to do with me.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Incredible. If you are after a fun filled hot hatch on a budget, this is the one for you.
What's it like to park?
One of the easiest cars in the world to park, the visibility is good, the size of the car and brilliant turning circle means that it is easy to park even in small spaces.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Exhaust, cambelt kit, both front lower arms, horn, steering column, ball joints, centre box on exhaust.
What's most practical about your car?
The car that I had chosen in particular had rear sliding seating that moved over the rear passenger leg room compartment to make the boot bigger. On several occasions I have found this a very useful feature and have even helped move house with the car.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
The Cup chassis made this car worth every penny of its purchase price. An absolutely incredible chassis and suspension layout that works fantastically with the 17 inch alloys that come with it. A true must with a go-kart like feel at all times.
