Renault Wind (2010 - 2012) 1.2 TCE GT Line 2d Owner Review

I got my wind at the start of December 2016, 4 months ago. I first saw one when they first came out and fell in love straight away, it wasn't the right time back then though. my wife is a worrier, I have a 300cc scooter and she hates it when I go out in case I have an accident so last November she asks me if I would like a car for work, I thought yes, as the older you get the longer bones tend to need to heal!! I asked her what my budget was and she said about £5000! lovely!! there must be a catch I thought, and, sure enough the offer was made on the understanding that i get rid of my scooter!! I told her I would but it would have to be in the spring as no one wants them in winter!! anyway, onto my wind! started searching for one early November, there were a few about but not in my local area, the nearest I think was Leeds, it had quite a high mileage and quite a high price tag too! I was thinking about it. at work one night my wife sent me a link to our local Renault dealership in Morecambe, I found my car!! up early next morning, straight to dealership, spoke to a really nice sales guy called Adam, he let me take it for a test drive and told me to take as long as I wanted, one hour later I was back, everything was perfect, and a great big grin plastered all over my face!! he knew he had a sale, it was all down to price, we eventually agreed on £4600 with one years comprehensive warranty and 12 months breakdown cover thrown in too, very very pleased!! I know it's only a 1.2 but it's so much fun to drive, the engine is very nippy, it's very comfortable and all the little gadgets, cruise control, Bluetooth, climate control, heated leather seats etc. are all an added bonus!! would I recommend you run out and buy one immediately?? of course I would, but not mine, it's here for the long term!! go on, you know you want too!!
