Summary
What does this car say about you?
Nothing - it's not mine any more!
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Nice looking - love the colour - shame about the performance!
Would you buy this car again and why?
Absolutely not. It is NOT a convertible for serious driving and is aptly named as the wind turbulence and noise inside the car is so horrendous you can't hear the radio, Tomtom or each other AND suffer a 50% increase in fuel consumption. Even with the roof up it is noisy and turbulent at speed – a little like turbulence on a plane. Armrest is too low to lean on and storage space nil but you would put up with this if it was a nice drive - it's not!
What are you likely to buy next?
Don't know - will keep the Tigra for now - so glad to get it back!

Franchise
Did you buy this car new?
Yes
What price did you pay?
£17,000
When did you buy the car?
April 2011
Did you get a good deal and why?
0% finance, 3 year warranty and RAC membership and 2 year service intervals. Good trade-in on the Tigra
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Wanted a hard top convertible as a replacement for an 08 Tigra Exclusiv
What was the dealer like?
Excellent

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Nippy but very turbulent even with the roof up. With the roof down it's horrendous.
What's it like to park?
Impossible without parking sensors which should be standard not extras.
-
Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Yes it has!! Rejected it as unfit for purpose after a 300-mile round trip from Bath to Meopham and got a full refund and the Tigra back
What's most practical about your car?
Nothing
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
The roof is clever but only 8 seconds faster than a Tigra. Bose stereo is nice but you can't hear it with the roof down.
