Rover 100 Hatchback 1.1 SE Kensington 5d (1996/N) Owner Review
-
Economy
Value
Can pick up newish models fairly cheaply.
Costs
Servicing cheap, some parts expensive, petrol consumption reasonable.
-
On the road
Driving
Very smooth for a car of its size. Nips around town well and handles longer trips amicably for a car of its size. Smooth and quiet at speed.
Performance
Nippy around town, but don't expect it to move on the motorway!

Living with it
Reliability
Keep it serviced and you'll have few problems.
Image
Isn't it a Metro? Is likely to get most admiring looks from the front.
Comfort
A wonderful ride. Seats good but uncomfortable on long trips. Leg room in back minimal. Front seats are higher than the Metro- good news for visibility, not if you're 6ft 2 (like me!).
-
Security and Service
Security
Alarm and immobiliser as standard- there are easier things on the road to nick.

Problems and Ownership
