Rover 100 Hatchback 1.1 SLi 5d (1995/N) Owner Review
-
Economy
Value
Only got it 2 weeks ago. Seems cheap to run, but depends on your throttle use.
Costs
Ok. Not as good as I expected, but will get better idea when fill tank up.
-
On the road
Driving
Ok, but a bit like a crab on the corners.
Performance
0-60 in 3 hours. It's not a road burner, just a steady plodder - not too bad for a 1.1.
-
Living with it
Reliability
So far so good. It's a Rover so should be fine.
Image
Old Metro shape makes it old, even with face lift models.
Comfort
Fair, but a bit cramped if someone in the back.
-
Security and Service
Security
Ok, but who wants to nick a Metro? Not much street cred for the car thief.
Service
Main dealer costs are a rip off - had a problem with central locking and the dealer wanted £120.

Problems and Ownership
Problems
Engine
1.1 plodder - sounds quiet.
