Economy
Value
£300 - Need I say more?
Costs
My car's only pulling 25mpg - but it has done 170k miles I suppose...

On the road
Driving
Best £300 I've spent on a car.
Performance
It's a Metro. Not exactly a Ferrari Enzo, but fast enough for a sensible driver. I'm sure there are still some left out there...

Living with it
Reliability
38000 miles in 14 months (car now showing 170k miles) and only have to lift the bonnet to replace windscreen wash fluid. Refuses to use oil.
Image
It's a Metro! I'd prefer to drive to Uni in the Enzo, but for now this car is more than average for now!
Comfort
I'm 6ft 2" so a little cramped, but seats quite supportive. Rear passengers will feel squashed. Ok for my dog and the overflow of shopping bags from the boot…

Security and Service
Security
Alarm and Immobiliser fitted as standard - easy to get into though when you've locked yourself out with the keys in the ignition! Steering lock worth using if possible.
Service
Never been serviced - when it's broke, I'll fix it. Cost me nothing so far!

Problems and Ownership

No problems at all. First time starter.
Other
Drivers side windscreen washer jet blocked a few months ago. Fixed by sticking a safety pin in it to clear. Shouldn't have mentioned that really. Just wanted to fill the gap up here :-)
