Economy
Value
For the money, you can't beat it.
Costs
Cheap to insure, cheap on petrol/diesel, you cant go wrong.
-
On the road
Driving
Still a bit firm, but it retains the go-kart handling round corners.
Performance
Great through town, but runs out of puff around 60 mph.
-
Living with it
Reliability
Nothing horrible to report.
Image
Updated looks can't cover up the fact its an old car, but nippy engine and fun handling makes up for it.
Comfort
Old dash updated, plush comfy seats make it a pleasant surprise.
-
Security and Service
Security
Good alarm and immobilisor, but same old door locks let it down (easy with a screwdriver).
Service
Average, but Rover is still a tad expensive for parts.
