What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
friends think it's alright actually, but the metro name still lingers unfortunately.
Would you buy this car again and why?
i might consider swapping it for a 1.4GSI model. As the 1.1l is pretty nippy as it is! ive beaten my friends' Golf mk4 off the line, and my other friends' Corsa 1.216v uphill! i mean, this car has apparently 59bhp, and the 1.4 has 75! and it stil weighs nothing!
What are you likely to buy next?
probably either a Fiat Punto 1.216v Sporting, or a VW Polo 1.416v. or the rover 100 1.4!

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
the clutch takes a bit of getting used to...pedals are way to close together, cant lean your left leg on anything except the gearstick, which isnt adviseable...so not great on long journeys, the seats will kill you by then anyway, i drove this car for 5 hours constantly, my back and shoulder were really painfull. That said, it wasnt exactly designed for that type of journey. around town is where it was meant for. It handles rlly well, my friends who have been driving behind me in their new, more powerful, thicker tyred cars often remark that this thing can rlly corner. and thats when the road is wet, where the front is very prone to understeer, and oversteer it must be said. This car could really really perform if it didnt have so much body roll, as the suspension feels stiff and poised. T
What's it like to park?
very very good. Power steering would make it probably the best car to park ever!

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
nothing has gone wrong as of yet. just little things like the handbrake indicator light in the dash keeps flashing, all the time. and the inside door handle surrounds have broken off.
What's most practical about your car?
You can see every angle, so so easy to park, even without power steering.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
erm...this car really doesnt have anything on it except for the essentials. and even they arent that good. The wiper speed isnt fast enough for example.
