What does this car say about you?
Well, it is not glamorous but I like it because it is unpretentious. I think it says that I'm not swayed by fashion or what's hip.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Family and friends think it is nippy. Former neighbours were hideous and derided it. Generally, I think peole think it's a bit naff but they know how much transport means to me so they are nice about it to my face!
Would you buy this car again and why?
No, just because I would go for a newer model, and maybe a bigger one.

Did you get a good deal and why?
I did get a good deal in that I really love my garage and the people who run it. Between us my husband and I we've bought 6 cars from these people. They always try and keep costs down for me and they specialise in Rovers so they have parts in.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
I love my garage.
What was the dealer like?
Great. Knew him before so not a problem.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
It's just really nippy. I can burn off big boys in my little Rover - leaving them astonished and disgruntled. Also it is automatic so really easy to drive, quick setting off. I do feel very vulnerable on motorways though. It feels tinny and light. However, fantastic for town and country roads. It's just good fun and practical.
What's it like to park?
Not so great - but then I am crap at parking. No PAS. But as car is so small can park in small spaces.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
The head gasket went - which is common in Rovers - but it was fixed fairly cheaply.
What's most practical about your car?
Very clear visibilty. Cheap parts. Cheap to run. Big boot for size of car.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
That it is automatic. Electric windows are handy.
