Rover 100 Hatchback 1.4 GSi 5d (2001/X) Owner Review
-
Economy
Value
Can"t get a better spec or newer small car for the money.
Costs
What costs? Even Rover dealers are reasonable.
-
On the road
Driving
Go-kart handling and revvy K-series engine make for a fun ride.
Performance
Leaves many larger-engined cars standing. A bit scary at high speeds, though, but pace is endless.

Living with it
Reliability
It's a Rover: don"t expect BMW mechanics.
Image
20-year-old design and looks it. Fortunately the lively performance makes up for it.
Comfort
Average. Not great on long journeys but seats are not that uncomfortable - could do with more support though.

Security and Service

Who would nick a Metro anyway?

All dealers are friendly enough.
