-
Economy
Value
Paid £1300 but it was hard to find and the 114 GTa gets snapped up quick.
Costs
New top hose £25 from rover. No other problems.

On the road
Driving
Nice ride. Dangerous in wet weather. Could do with having wider wheels.
Performance
Very nippy. I know someone with an XR3i who's scared of my GTa. Gets to 85mph fast not much beyond 100mph though. Revs to 6500rpm+

Living with it
Reliability
Good reliability.
Image
Some people think its not stylish. But I'd rather have this than a frog eye Fiesta! The GTa does look sporty and with an induction kit, it sounds like an Impreza Turbo (I'm not lying, try it!)
Comfort
No rear leg room, but very comfortable. Heater burns your feet and makes you sweat.

Security and Service
Security
Its got an alarm and immobiliser and it looks like a metro. It repels thiefs!

Meaty for a 1.4, sounds sporty. Keep check on oil and water levels they are unpredictable.
