Rover 200 Cabriolet (1992 - 1999) 1.6 SE 2d Owner Review
In their own words
I bought this from my neighbour, having coveted it for years. Nightfire red with a beige leather interior. Spent £1000 getting it back on the road after 5 years' SORN. It is lovely to drive, mechanically sound, and though it wobbles when you go over rough surfaces, it feels well put together, and with a Honda D series engine it seems sound and is watertight even in a storm. Undersealed, polished, its a beauty. Anyone who likes Rovers, reliability, being photographed by admiring strangers, something different, and a bargain, should consider one.
All that for £2000 all in. Just don't have an accident in it, or expect it to cruise quietly at 90. Sedate, 70, and enjoy the good chassis. The original speakers will cope with a stereo upgrade too.
