Rover 200 Cabriolet 214 2d (1995/M) Owner Review
-
Economy
Value
Very good. Budget open-top motoring.
Costs
Frugal 1.4 unit.
-
On the road
Driving
Comfortable, few ratles and squeaks but only to be expected from a convertible.
Performance
Nippy around town with 16v engine. Struggles a tiny bit on motorways but then it is only a 1.4!
-
Living with it
Reliability
Hasn't given me any cause for concern but I don't abuse any of my cars!
Image
Really smart in BRG, bright alloys. I reckon I get just as many looks as all those (yawn!) BMW 3-series/Saab convertibles at a tenth (and more) of the price!
Comfort
No problems at all.

Security and Service
Security
Factory-fitted remote immobiliser.
Service
Haven't had to use yet!
