Rover 200 Coupe 1.8 VVC 2d (1998/S) Owner Review
-
Economy
Value
One of the best unless you have to deal with a Rover dealer.
Costs
Independent specalists 5, Rover 1.
-
On the road
Driving
Excellent. 3/4 visibility poor.
Performance
0-60 in 7.8 seconds. Not to keep on corners, mind.
-
Living with it
Reliability
New engine fitted by Rover at 32k miles with full service history, which cost £3k. Rover would only contribute £1k. Dealers extremely poor and expensive. Very common problem.
Image
Very stylish vehicle. Shame you have to deal with Rover dealers.
Comfort
Very good for a sports coupe, although no BMW.
-
Security and Service
Security
Average at time, poor for 2003.
Service
If there was a minus figure, I would give it. Rover will go bust unless the dealer network is radically overhauled.
