Rover 200 Coupe 1.8 VVC 2d (2001/X) Owner Review
-
Economy
Value
Good value for what you're getting.
Costs
Reasonable: fuel consumption good for performance and insurance not cheap.
-
On the road
Driving
Very easy. Comfy to drive and handles well even when pushed (though car is too high).
Performance
Outstanding for size. Only 2-litre turbo version is faster. Need to go to 2.8 in BMW, Audi etc for faster performance.

Living with it
Reliability
Not had to do much yet. Only prob is leak in boot.
Image
Always attracts looks and comments (though targa roof should have been a proper T-Bar in middle!)
Comfort
Front seats very comfy (adj but should go lower still). General good layout.

Security and Service
Security
Immobiliser and alarm as standard.
Service
Generally good, but once when had to put spare tyre on, didn't check pressure and drove it to me flat!
