Rover 200 Coupe 216 2d (1993/L) Owner Review
-
Economy
Value
Not very common so are sought after. Honda parts can be pricey.
Costs
Average MPG. Quite expensive insurance but a 1600cc tax cost.
-
On the road
Driving
Very solid ride, hugging seats however the wheel has a tiny allignment fault.
Performance
Very good for a 1600 SOHC. Faster than a 2.0 Cavalier cheaper than a 320 BMW.

Living with it
Reliability
One turn of the engine and it springs to life. The Honda engine is superb.
Image
Very pretty car. Flares on rear sill, large mouthed front bumper, boot spoiler on most models, targa top gives it a cabriolet look.
Comfort
Seats are very shaped with lumbar support but the hard ride can get uncomfortable.

Security and Service
Security
Many have inadequate alarms. I suggest getting a Clifford.
Service
Rover seem to be more interested about newer Rovers like the 75 and MGs.
