Rover 200 Coupe 220 Turbo 2d (1992/K) Owner Review

Economy
Value
A lot of performance, for such little money. I paid £2500 for mine (2 years a half ago).
Costs
Fuel isn't good if you have a heavy right foot, but otherwise very impressed. Servicing not to bad, but I don't bother with a main dealer.

On the road
Driving
Quick as and not many people realise it... until I'm passing them :)
Performance
220bhp at the fly wheel (induction kit and stainless exhaust with bleed valve) for not much money, I really ain't arguing. Shame it's front wheel drive though. Would have been rear wheel drive. Although it's better lowered with the uprated bushes.

Living with it
Reliability
I have yet to break down (touch wood) but nothing major to stop it not working.
Image
I like it. What else matters?
Comfort
Well, with a full Koni sports set of suspension (lowering it 35mm) and 17/40/205 wheels on it, it's a little hard at the best of times, but my God does this thing handle well!

Security and Service
Security
Standard so so, but adding a Thatcham 2 immobisler, I'm happy and so was my insurance... group 17 and 21 years old ain't the best of things! (2 years+ ago though).
Service
Never had it serviced at a main dealer.
