Rover 200 Coupe 220 Turbo 2d (1998/R) Owner Review

Economy
Value
Excellent performance and looks value.
Costs
Parts are easily accessible and good value. Dealers can be expensive on cetain items. Insurance costs are very good when compared with similar vehicles. Should average 27-31mpg. Best for me is 44mpg!

On the road
Driving
Very good handling with aftermarket suspension. Can oversteer when pushed hard! A good, predictable handling car!
Performance
Suprises a lot of other road users! Never shy against other performance cars!

Living with it
Reliability
Excellent! Never been a member of the AA and never had to in over 4 years ownership.
Image
Still gets admiring looks and comments, in coupe form.
Comfort
Quiet and refined on the motorway, even at high speeds. Bad road surfaces can trouble it, but it does have a sports suspension.

Security and Service
Security
Would be advisable to have a Thatcham approved type security, for peace of mind.
Service
Some dealers can be better than others. Mixed opinions on dealer service.
