Rover 200 Hatchback 214 16V SEi 3d (1995/N) Owner Review
-
Economy
Value
Bought second-hand with 40k miles on the clock with FSH at around 1500 quid.
Costs
Had to have a new gearbox and clutch.
-
On the road
Driving
A bit spongey suspension but still nice to drive.
Performance
Can't beat 103bhp from a 1.4. A lot quicker than the average 1.4 like a Polo or sumthing.
-
Living with it
Reliability
Never let me down.
Image
Bit of a grandad car, but when I had it lowered with 17" alloys, no-one could really argue.
Comfort
Half leather with a sort of bucket effect.

Security
Remote alarm/immobiliser could be better.
