-
Economy
Value
Difficult to beat.
Costs
Very little - it pays me!
-
On the road
Driving
Fun and ideal for our roads.
Performance
Excellent for 1.4 and flies when wound up!
-
Living with it
Reliability
Excellent only failed once in over 10 years (due to headgasket).
Image
Unjust brand image, due to ignorance, but high spec and condition bolster it in this case.
Comfort
Great seats look almost like new despite 142k miles.
-
Security and Service
Security
Good for the year, with no false alarms. Airbag and side impact bars hopefully won't be used!
Service
OK, but better quality and value at independent and home servicing.

Engine
New headgasket at 80k (£400) - no recurrence after a further 62k. Water pump at 140k (£60).
Other
New radiator at 135k (£40). Electric sunroof and door motor broken currently being manually overridden, before trip to scrap yard! Normal consumerbles changed, but still has original brake discs, clutch, glass, etc.
