Got mine for 5k with 16,000 miles and one very careful owner, he had even got an alloy for the spare!

Unfortunately Rover went belly up when I was about to trade it in, but DIY servicing was OK price.

Great driving position. Almost sports car feel as seat is so low down, but can be cranked up for height. Real sense of feedback too.

    Performance

    4 out of 5 4.0

Case of Jekyll and Hyde. Engine is best 1.4 I've ever tried .but soft alloy leads to head gasket/overheating problems like I got! Also independent rear suspension gives great handling but let down but front McPherson strut that cant deliver good traction.

As mentioned before, good performing engine but the candle that burns twice as bright lasts half as long!

In sei guise and 3dr it is only let down by dated two tone body mouldings.but good to look at all the same.

    Comfort

Seats 4 adults and has huge boot space.
