Summary
What does this car say about you?
Why? What have you heard?! I hope it hasn't been spreading rumours!! Twenty-one years and this is how it repays me?
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
If they are sad enough to think about my car, then that says more about their life than mine.
Would you buy this car again and why?
I already own this car, so if I bought it again, it would prove to be something of a waste of money, don't you think? And if it's been saying things behind my back, then no I would not!
What are you likely to buy next?
I'll never buy another car. Why bother buying another car when the bus is free?

Yes

Did you get a good deal and why?
Very good deal indeed. We gave the dealer some money, and in exchange, we got a car.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
We wanted something reliable. It's 21 years old, and still in working order. We'll never change now!

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
It has a steering wheel and three pedals, so driving it is easy. Point the car in the direction you wish it to go, don't hit anything on the way and you'll be fine. Steering is a tad heavy, especially when my wife tugs at the wheel to try and alter the direction of travel.
What's it like to park?
Well, I have always been able to see all four corners of the car quite easily, and owing to Rover's genius idea of including a reverse gear for backward propulsion, it is possible to do a fancy reverse manoeuvre, if that's your kind of thing.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
It's 21 years old and still our only car, so evidently not. It did once make a wrong turn in Filey, but the least said about that, the better...
What's most practical about your car?
It has two front doors, which allow front seat passengers access to the front seats. It also has a windscreen so we don't get wet on rainy days, which is a thoughtful touch from Rover.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Four wheels, four seats, fauna and flora.
