-
Economy
Value
2 litre turbo for under 2k... amazing value for money.
Costs
Parts are cheap and accessible, if driven sensibly mpg is good, i average 240 miles to a tank.
-
On the road
Driving
Good ride, average handling, suffers from torque steer.
Performance
Rapid car, never wants to give up, off the line it can and has made people look silly!! Love the, "It's only a Rover attitude!!"
-
Living with it
Reliability
If left standard very good, 115k on mine and it's still going strong, gearboxes are weak though, so leave the boost standard
Image
Old mans car, but i think they look great, especially compared to other mid 90's cars
Comfort
Good on long journeys, great seats, quite cramped in the back though
-
Security and Service
Security
Best fitting an aftermarket alarm and immobiliser
Service
Average service, still get funny looks when ordering parts for a 2 litre turbo, they seem to forget they made one!!
