Rover 200 Hatchback 220 GSi Turbo 3d (1994/L) Owner Review
-
Economy
Value
Money well spent.
Costs
Rover parts can be pricey, but plenty of spares about.
-
On the road
Driving
Can be tricky at times, torque steer is intermittent.
Performance
Can't fault it. Grin factor lives on.
-
Living with it
Reliability
Faultless for the first year, not bad for 10 year old. Only problem was a misfire on boost (rotor arm), and the usual ABS sensor.
Image
Still looks good after 10 years, but can appear dated next to most things now!
Comfort
Seats are sporty Recaro derivatives, look good, but can give a few aches on long drives. Steering could do to adjust for reach, but most cars that age didn't.

Security and Service
Security
Standard is ok, but nothing compared to today's offerings.
Service
Parts depts usually try and tell you your car doesn't exist, and that the Coupe was the only model to carry the T16 Turbo. Once you can get them to talk about parts they're usually on the ball.
