    Costs

It's a hot hatch so still standard 200 body so cheap enough for that, servicing fine at local garage, insurance steep if your young, and petrol can be brill apart from when you floor it! then the VVC drinks it!

  • On the road

    Driving

    5 out of 5 5.0

Responsive steering and feel with Limited Slip Diff cornering is sensational

    Performance

    5 out of 5 5.0

It's there alright, my God, it's there in a big way, the response through the rev range is great with the VVC, many a motor bike and even a WRX Impreza Turbo had to play second fiddle to me on more than one occasion!

  • Living with it

    Reliability

    3 out of 5 3.0

Dare i mention head gasket! apart from that and the odd squeak I've never had a problem, but i do look after my cars.

Most people dont like the orange mouth, and don't have a clue what the car is, but those in the know respect you and those who don't have the funniest face when it comes to a set of traffic lights on the East Lancs Road! They get a good view of the back!

    Comfort

    4 out of 5 4.0

Its reet! Nice leather seats, not a big Volvo comfy but thats the nature of the car! The BRM's a drivers car!

  • Security and Service

    Security

    3 out of 5 3.0

Rover Alarm and Imobiliser and locking nuts on the special alloys so average i guess! Mine never got nicked or broken into!

    Service

    3 out of 5 3.0

Even some of the numpty's! At the Rover garage dont know what a BRM is! But they do treat you well.
