Brilliant! Well worth another £2,000 more than I got it for!

    Costs

    5 out of 5 5.0

£288 for all new belts + fluids + full service at top local garage; not Rover! (12,000 miles between services!)

Swaped it for a Toyota MR2 - No competition! This car is faster, better handling, more comfortable, easier to stop and a joy to drive. A better car all round from a driver's point of view!

    Performance

WOW!!! WOW!!! WOW!!! (like **** off a stick!!!)

  • Living with it

    Reliability

    4 out of 5 4.0

Battery dead after 10 days. Bought new heavy duty one for £50. L/H repeater working its self loose. R/H one looks to be going the same way? Nothing major!

Much better than I expected. Must be the black windows! Girls at work called it a 'chick puller' - not bad considering my previous car was an MR2.

    Comfort

    5 out of 5 5.0

Brilliant. Comfortable. Love the Lumber support, air con, elect bits and front seat passengers love it! Not tried the back seats yet, but more room than the MR2!

  • Security and Service

    Security

    4 out of 5 4.0

The Rover alarm/immobiliser seems ok (hopefully). I use a stop-lock in my garage and at other places, but this is my own choice; not an insurance spec!

    Service

    5 out of 5 5.0

Brilliant when I phoned nearest dealer for a spare alarm remote and some other questions (a bit expensive but that's dealers).
