Economy
Value
Super cheap for a decent hot hatch - you can pick a decent one up for £3k now. Interior build quality is typical Rover. Handbrake lever sums up Rover's attitude to this.
Costs
Very cheap to service and repair, excellent MPG, even when driven hard

Driving
Good road handling and grip let down by featherweight PAS
Performance
Surprisingly good - lovely smooth engine delivers great performance through the gears
-
Living with it
Reliability
Never had a problem with mine
Image
Hmm bit of a problem with the Rover badge - not deserved with this car though -it's a little gem, and looks understated. Far better than the atrocious boy racer MGZR
Comfort
Again very good - brilliant front seats and decent ride.
