Summary
What does this car say about you?
That I'm a penny pincher and couldn't afford a proper sports car.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Nothing anymore - car was scrapped.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Lol. I'd rather volunteer to be burned at the stake than get behind the wheel of another Rover. Cheap, tacky, appalling build quality, crap badge, high insurance.
What are you likely to buy next?
anything but a Rover

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
OK in a straight line - corners not so good, ride very soft for a so-called sports hatchback, handling soft, but pretty quick. Decent seats for short journeys - avoid motorways!
What's it like to park?
Same as any other hatchback - easy
-
Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Yes - car ended up in the scrap yard. Engine seized after just 75,000 miles. Also - prone to rust, trim could not be any cheaper and kept falling off. Interior switches kept failing, heating broke down. Very poor build quality.
What's most practical about your car?
5 doors, good boot space, roomy, surprisingly good fuel economy.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
