Cheap tax & insurance but constant repair costs cancel this out.

Quite nippy for a 1.4, fun to drive.
Performance
Fine around town. OK on motorway but quite a lot of cabin noise.

Reliability
Starter motor went recently, Fuel tank rusted and started leaking (only a 'P' reg)! Brake callipers seized up etc etc...

Uncomfortable after a few hours on motorway. Not much room in the back.

Has standard fit alarm and immobiliser. Never had any problems.

Never used Rover for servicing - too expensive.
