Value
Better value now than in 1997. Retained 32% of list price after nearly 6 years! (Traded in March 2002).
Costs
Did not use Rover dealer for servicing. Insurance very reasonable.

Driving
Good for a small family car without sporting pretensions.
Performance
Good for a 1.4.

Living with it
Reliability
Good overall.
Image
Good looking and driving car. I don't understand Rover's duff image.
Comfort
A bit snug in the back for above average sized adults. Radio controls on steering wheel good.

Security and Service
Security
Not tested! Remote central locking good.
Service
Purchased from Rover dealer. Delivery faults rectified once pushed, with a set of mats thrown in.
